yes, MALE boudoir photography IS A THING!
The male form, when well lit and posed can showcase your sexiest self. From Male Boudoir to Fitness to Fine Art Nude and even Erotica, I want to work with you to help you to create images that will remind yourself of just how incredible you are! Some boudoir photographers won’t even work with male clients, but I chose to encourage men, just like I do with women, to embrace their sexy, sensual side in front of my camera during a male boudoir photoshoot.
Boudoir photography…It's not just for the ladies
You deserve this! Men deserve to feel sensual! Men deserve to feel sexy! Men’s bodies are beautiful and boudoir photoshoots should not be limited to just one gender. You won’t really hear me referring to our session as dudoir photography. You can call it dudoir, male boudoir, art nude, or whatever you want to call it! I prefer male boudoir photography and it’s a great way to get back to loving yourself or to celebrate where you are in life, that great milestone you just hit, or for some men, to process through a reawakening in their lives to discover the sexy and desirable parts of themselves again.
I think that as a society, we’ve lost sight of the fact that men, just like women, need to be seen and heard. You need to be allowed to express yourself, build your self-worth, and embrace the body you have. Just like women who reach out for sessions, men don’t want to be faced with judgement. In a male boudoir session with me, you are going to find acceptance and encouragement. You are also going to find laughter and a bit of silliness!
Body acceptance and self-love are something that men deserve to experience. Some men are celebrating milestones like weight loss or turning 30, 40, 50, 60, or 70. Some are documenting their gains and all the work they put into their physique. Some are starting their new life after divorce or breakup. Other men want this experience to help boost their view of themselves and build their self-confidence. They take the courageous step to get in front of the camera in an effort to see their body in a new light and through my lens.

Men have many of the same insecurities as women. What!! It’s true and it’s my job to help men find that beauty that’s inside of them. Men deserve this confidence boost of a session and to see that they can find their self love. The sessions I create for men are a safe space to explore who you are and who you want to be. You won’t find judgment, but you will find that you can explore whatever side of yourself you want to explore. Some men want to explore more of their feminine side while others want to feature all the things they love about their masculinity and male physique. (Some of those men become erotica clients instead of male boudoir!) Some men flow between both. In a male boudoir photoshoot, men can explore their sensual side without shame and without judgement. Life is fleeting! Regardless of your age, shedding your inhibitions and stepping in front of the camera is liberating!
I love getting to know my clients and finding out what best represents them. I like creating a unique experience that is tailored to their needs. Storytelling and themed sessions for men are often a great way to connect and help them get comfortable in front of the camera. I like to hear about client’s hobbies and interests and work them into a session as a storyline. But just like my women clients, even with no storyline, other than a desire to experience a sexy male boudoir shoot, you don’t have to go with props and themed stories. You can just be you!

Well, I’ll click my camera! Ok, seriously. Let’s meet for a consultation either in person, on zoom, or just a quick on the phone. Getting naked is never required! I will stick with your boundaries. This is your session and I won’t push you to do anything that you aren’t comfortable doing!

Well, that’s what I do! Wait, actually I don’t get naked, you do if you want to. Typically in a male boudoir session, I don’t photograph frontal nudity. As you can see in my portfolio, with proper posing or a sheet, we can create some amazing nude images.

Hey, you’re a guy. It’s cool. It happens and it’s totally natural. The session is sensual and sexy so yeah, you may get hard. Since this is a boudoir session and not a erotic photography session, we aren’t going for awesome dick pics! I’m not going to judge you and I’m not going to make an issue out of it. We just keep shooting. Trust me, it’s fine.

Nope, absolutely not! I work with lots of men that are 50 and older. My oldest client to date was 72. He was amazing!!! There is no shape or size requirement for boudoir. The only age requirement is that you are of legal age. I tell everyone that I want you to learn to love yourself where you are! Let’s get you some boudoir photos so you can see just how great you look and not what the voice in your head (or society) tells you.
